I’d heard good things about this Cantonese-style Chinese restaurant, so I finally stopped by for dinner. We arrived around 6 p.m., and although the place was fairly busy, we were seated right away. We started with complimentary tea, which was excellent. My friend ordered soup dumplings and a lightly sweet coconut milk and ube jelly dessert, while I chose shrimp and short rib dumplings from the dim sum menu. Everything we tried was delicious. The only downside was that many dim sum items, including the pork buns, weren’t available during dinner. I’ll definitely have to come back at lunchtime to experience their full dim sum menu. Overall, it has the feel of a traditional Chinese eatery with good food and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll certainly be back.

We had a fantastic dining experience here! We ordered the set dinner for four, and every single dish was flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients. The absolute standouts were the Peking duck and the lobster noodles. The service was exceptional—our servers were attentive, professional, proactively changed our plates several times, and carefully packed up our leftovers. While many upscale Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area tack on a mandatory 18% service charge, Sifu Wong doesn't impose one, even though their outstanding service easily deserves it (and more!).

This was first visit to this restaurant. We believed that this must be a good Chinese restaurant because we saw 90% of the guests were Asian. Unfortunately, it was not like what we thought… we probably didn’t get the right dishes of the restaurant… The crispy chicken was dry although we liked its crispy skin. Then other dish - Vegetarian deluxe… its red sauce tasted weird. It was difficult to describe the taste… its ingredients were good (mushrooms, oyster mushroom, tofu, baby corns, bok choy…) but the sauce ruined the dish. We wished it was just simply stir-fried. The worst thing was a cabbage caterpillar was found in this veggie dish😓. I told to two staff about the caterpillar. One didn’t say anything and walked away. The other one said “sorry” and walked away. Except these, the restaurant was spacious, the service was fair, the rice was good, the food came quickly. It served free cookies and dessert after the meal. We still left decent tip. We are not sure if coming to the restaurant again.

We had lunch in this restaurant last week. The food is really delicious. There is special combo of $20 with each one of steam BBQ pork bun, shrimp dumpling, pork dumpling,Crispy Fried Spring Roll and Steamed Chicken Feet & Spareribs rice. It was excellent. We ordered a Pan Fried Crispy Egg Noddle with Seafood. Again we ordered Egg Custard Tart for dessert. All the food are tasty and not salty. The tarts are so good and we ordered 3 more(3x3=9)and take out. The place is tidy and clean. The services are very good. The guys will even ask if we need bowls for the fried noodle.(It is very special since many restaurants only provide dishes). We really appreciate the quality of foods and are very impressed. It was a amazing lunch.

Went with a group of Cantonese friends to this restaurant for lunch based on their years of experiences that the restaurant serves high quality Hong Kong dim sum. As such, we ordered a whole bunch of dim sum dishes to feast upon (a bit too many). Overall, both appearances and tastes of all the dishes selected felt great to each of us. Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, the service can indeed be quite slow. Nevertheless, the servers are helpful and one of them even packed all the leftovers dishes nicely on our behalf (to my surprise) when it is time for us to go. This restaurant is definitely worth coming to experience Hong Kong dim sum cuisine.
